General Data Protection Regulation GDPR
In connection with the introduction of new legislation in the field of personal data protection - Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (hereinafter referred to as the GDPR Regulation), which repeals Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation) and the implementation of measures to ensure compliance of W8 Fitness s.r.o., Petöfiho 936/96 , 943 01 Štúrovo, Slovakia with the GDPR Regulation as well as with the related relevant legislation governing the protection of personal data (e.g. Act No. 18/2018 Coll. on the protection of personal data and on amendment and supplementation of certain acts, decrees of the Office for the Protection of Personal Data of the Slovak Republic), we provide a general information obligation regarding the protection of personal data in the following text.

Processing of personal data for individual purposes
2.1 Purchase of goods through the e-shop, delivery of goods and handling of complaints
W8 Fitness s.r.o. processes the following personal data of the customer for the purpose of purchasing goods through the e-shop and delivery of goods: name, surname, telephone number, e-mail address, address, data about the purchased goods and data related to the payment for the goods (account number, amount paid, date of crediting the payment to the account of W8 Fitness s.r.o.). For the purpose of complaint handling, in addition to the above data, also the data about the goods complained about and the data provided by the customer when making a complaint.
The legal basis for the processing of personal data is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR and Article 6(1)(c) GDPR in the case of the purchase of goods via the e-shop and the delivery of goods to the customer.
The processing of personal data by W8 Fitness s.r.o. in the case of the purchase of goods through the e-shop, the delivery of goods to the customer is necessary for the performance of the contract for the purchase of goods and in the case of the handling of complaints for the purpose of fulfilling the legal obligation of W8 Fitness s.r.o.

Personal data are processed during the period of performance of the contract for the purchase of goods and during the warranty period for the delivered goods.
2.2 Registration of the e-shop customer
W8 Fitness s.r.o. processes the following personal data for the purpose of e-shop customer registration: name, surname, telephone number, e-mail address, address and order history.
The legal basis for the processing of personal data is Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. The processing of personal data by W8 Fitness s.r.o. is necessary to ensure registration in the e-shop.
The personal data is processed for the duration of the registration in the e-shop.
2.3 Exercise of claims by W8 Fitness s.r.o.
W8 Fitness s.r.o. processes the following data for the purpose of claims by W8 Fitness s.r.o.: data contained in contracts with customers and suppliers, data contained in complaints, data necessary for the filing of a claim by W8 Fitness s.r.o., the data provided in the lawsuit against W8 Fitness s.r.o., the data provided in the theft records, the data kept in the accounting records and other data necessary in connection with any claims or defending the interests of W8 Fitness s.r.o.
The purpose of the processing of this personal data is the legitimate interest of the controller and the legal basis for the processing is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. The processing of personal data by W8 Fitness s.r.o. is necessary for the purposes of the legitimate interests of W8 Fitness s.r.o. The legitimate interest of W8 Fitness s.r.o. is the protection of its assets as well as the protection against unjustified claims against W8 Fitness s.r.o.
The recipients of personal data are the following persons:
Courts, public authorities, legal representatives, tax advisors and other professional advisors as operators.
The personal data is processed during the litigation period and during the limitation period during which claims may be asserted against W8 Fitness s.r.o. or during which the company may assert its own claims.

2.4 Fulfilling the legal obligations of W8 Fitness s.r.o.
W8 Fitness s.r.o. processes the personal data referred to in points 2.1 to 2.4 for the purposes of fulfilling the legal obligations of W8 Fitness s.r.o..
The legal basis for the processing is Article 6(1)(c) GDPR (e.g. Accountancy Act, Value Added Tax Act, Income Tax Act, Consumer Protection Act, Archives and Records Act). The processing of personal data by W8 Fitness s.r.o. is necessary for the purposes of fulfilling the legal obligations of W8 Fitness s.r.o.
